Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2016, at his home in Spokane, WA. Jerry was born June 29, 1934, in Spokane, to Thomas and Anne (Jakou) Eslick. He was a graduate of West Valley High School. He married the love of his life, Marilee Francis Syler on December 12, 1956 in Spokane. He worked in Sales for Jensen Byrd, Darigold and finally with Joey August where he retired in 1996. Jerry was a tremendous worker and highly successful in every position he held. He had a unique knack for fixing things with a "never give up" attitude and approach to the challenge. He was larger than life and had an uncanny way of reaching people in a deep and positive way. Jerry was obsessed with automobiles having washed, waxed and buffed hundreds of vehicles throughout his life. His most admirable feature was his ability to serve his family, friends and strangers every day. Jerry always put everyone before him all the way to his last breath.
Jerry is survived by his wife Marilee; his three children Jeff, Jody and Shelley; his five grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Jim; his in-laws Jack and Francis Syler; and his granddaughter Alishia Smith. We will miss you JSlick!
Family, friends and others whose lives Jerry touched are invited to the Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Spokane, at 10 AM on Monday, December 12, 2016, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.

Arrangements under the direction of Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, Spokane, WA.
